The Gentle Giant Initiative for Ecosystems
In loving memory of her late husband, Arijit Ghosh, a man known for his quiet strength and towering presence Ms. Pallavi Salvi has initiated and is generously supporting the Gentle Giant Initiative, a heartfelt tribute rooted in nature and remembrance.
With the support of The CHINI Trust, this initiative is now part of one of the Trust’s core missions: creating and replicating ecosystems for inclusive change.
The Gentle Giant Initiative for Ecosystems supports the creation of community-led, nature-based spaces that foster healing, connection, and sustainability. It stands as a living legacy, both deeply personal and powerfully universal.

Just like the tallest bamboo in Green Verge, Kolkata planted and lovingly tended by Ms. Salvi in her late husband’s memory, this initiative rises with quiet strength, enriching the land and the lives it touches.
